Soy Sauce: – 3 tablespoons
Brown Sugar: – 3 tablespoons
Sherry: – 2 tablespoons
Sesame Oil: – 1 tablespoon
Ground Ginger: – ¼ teaspoon
Garlic Powder: – ¼ teaspoon
Skinless, Boneless Chicken Breast Halves: – 8, cut into 2 inch pieces
Pineapple Chunks: – 1 can, drained

The Method of Preparation
Take a shallow glass dish and mix in soy sauce, sherry, brown sugar, sesame oil, and ginger and garlic powder in it properly. The next step is to take equal sized pieces of pineapples and chicken and put them in the mixture until well coated. This is the marinade of the kobobs.
Now cover the dish and let it marinate. This should be kept in the refrigerator for about 2 hours before you use it further. Now the grill should be preheated on medium to high heat for sometime. The grill grate should be oiled a little. Take individual skewers and thread in the chicken and pineapple alternatively.

Do not use opened can of pineapple for the kobobs. This can really leave a negative impact on the taste of the dish. Already opened pineapple cans usually have a stale smell in it. Along with this, make sure you have the sufficient time in hand for marinating the chicken and pineapple.
