Start low, “finish high”

The Pax 3 UK is a conduction-style vaporizer. It’s best to use the entire contents of the Pax 3 in one session. This is why it’s best to start at the lowest setting and gradually work your way up to higher settings, as indicated by the four lights. You’ll enjoy all the flavors that the lower temperatures can offer, even if you start at the lowest setting. You’ll see larger clouds as you heat up, so you can hit the whole heat spectrum.

Half or Full – You decide

You’ll get better results if you fully pack the oven because of how the Pax 3 heats the flower. The large oven allows you to quickly eat your buds, even if you’re just vaping. It is a good idea to use less dry herbs. The half oven lid will be included with the Pax package. This is a great way to conserve dry herbs. You can still get one from VapeWorld if you only purchased the dry herb package. 

Trust me, when there are still flowers at the end of the day, you will be grateful. You can make a DIY oven lid if you don’t have an oven lid. They will cut a pipe screen to fit your oven and allow heat to come from all angles.

Finely grind it and hold it in place

Fine and tight refers to how you should pack your flower. The Pax 3 oven is best suited for finely ground herbs. Your flower should be as dry and crisp as possible for the Pax 3. Instead of letting a nug rest for a while before you grind it, why not let it sit out in the sun and let it soak up O2. Once you have achieved a powder-like consistency, pack it tightly in the oven to ensure that it flows freely. You may not be getting large clouds of vapor if you don’t follow these steps correctly.

Keep it clean

The Pax 3 is not the only vaporizer that needs to be cleaned. The Pax 3 is easy to use, so most people forget to clean it. These are some of the things I have seen my friends do. For the best experience, I recommend that they be kept clean.

The Pax 3’s air path is very narrow, so it can become clogged up. This can cause the Pax 3 to produce less vapor and more resistance. You can keep your Pax 3 clean by adding alcohol to a pipe cleaner stick and running it through the pathway once every three to four sessions.

Selecting the right mouthpiece

There are two styles of Pax 3 mouthpieces. One is flat and recessed, the other is traditional like the original Pax. This newer version, while better than the original, is quite subpar. It can feel hot and scalding when the mouthpiece heats up. The flat, recessed version is my favorite. It looks awkward but it works well and should be your go-to mouthpiece.
